Corporate Wellness & Programs

At Kinect, you’ll be exploring modalities that have been in use, and effective, for thousands of years.

Many of the practices introduced derive from Ayurvedic, Eastern medicines intertwined with modern-day medicine. A perfect blend of East meets West. A culmination of a customized and cultivated rich approach specifically designed for each individual's needs.

Based on blood type, genetics, medical history, and deep listening to connect, you’ll develop your own body awareness as you are guided with our tailor-made approach towards healing from the inside out.

  • Breath is the very essence to living. It is our KI (chi, qi, prana, or life force energy). Essentially, breath is energy. Without breathing, we die. Breath is actually the single most important movement and function we do. It is responsible for helping circulate blood flow, bringing oxygen to cleanse our organs and flushing out toxins. Breathwork is a powerful tool to heal, release blocks and strengthen the immune as well as cardiovascular and respiratory system. Breathing consists of an average of 17,000 times a day. With that in mind, how does this change the way you approach refining the quality of your breath?

  • Our bodies house our souls. How we connect to our body can unleash magical healing powers in miraculous and infinite ways. When disconnected, it leads to us dis-ease, illness and suffering. The body is a multifaceted intelligent system. This is why healing the body is more than what meets the eye. It is simply not just solely fitness focused or building physical strength. It is truly a holistic approach to ensure each individual system is contributing to co create balance within the other systems. When one system in the body is off balance, it will affect the way other systems interact with others. With this in mind, what kind of relationship are you consciously cultivating with your body on a daily basis?

  • Mental health and well being is the forefront of being able to overcome life’s challenges. We all struggle with mental health on various levels. Being emotionally balanced, connected and aware of how our emotions affect the way we show up in life or shape our character and values. Our mental capacity presents how we perceive life events, form our worldviews, process personal experiences and how we choose to react or respond to them. These beliefs and interpretations are based on whom, how, where and when we were raised. How are your limiting beliefs or inner dialogue getting in the way of living the life you have always desired or envisioned for yourself?

  • Movement is an occurrence that happens with us automatically whether we think about it or not. However, the problem with automatic is that our body language is not always mindful, graceful, connected, or all the above. Which can be a danger to our safety, physical health and longevity. Our posture, movement patterns, biomechanics, form, gestures and body awareness fall short on properly supporting our bodies in the long run. It shows up as compensation, slack, imbalance, tension, acute or chronic pain and injuries. To move through space in a way that embodies strength, grace, and confidence in a powerful vessel is a practice that invites us to cultivate body awareness in a way that doesn’t highlight shame, discomfort or insecurities. Be able to learn how to use your body awareness as a tool to refine the way you move to redirect and transform pain and discomfort. Or to transform poor posture into a powerful, poised, and confident person when you enter any room. Mastering the power of body language.

  • Spending time in nature is restorative, calming, grounding, peaceful and inspiring. Research supports being in nature and its natural beauty can provide healing benefits and reduce anxiety. It lowers stress hormone levels, improves our mood, lowers blood pressure, enhances immune system function, increases dopamine and serotonin in our brains, which are happy hormones associated with improved sense of satisfaction and motivation. Being in the sun 20 mins a day offers vitamin d. Taking a hike in nature, during the sunset. It makes us feel some kind of way. And when we ingest natural herbs and plants, that too offers a wide range of magical elixirs, such as CBD and other cannabinoids from hemp and cannabis. Much research is proving that “natures cure” can assist in treating many ailments, diseases and illness.

  • As the infamous Socrates said, “Know thyself”. To know ourselves is the key to self mastery. As you know, we are our own worst enemy and critic. When we connect to our “self”, here we are talking about your current state of mind, character, strengths, weaknesses, patterns, limited beliefs, blind spots and flaws. In order to grow and evolve to our “highest self”, we must be willing to look ourselves in the mirror and be honest with ourselves first and foremost. In order to fully bloom, be happy and at peace with ourselves is to learn how to fully love ourselves. “Self love” is a term we have all been using a lot but achieving self love is a journey one must travel, to go within and seek. In order to find our true essence, our value and contentment with who we are and when we learn the dance of self: love, forgiveness, compassion, companionship, and acceptance is when our fulfilled, whole selves can emerge. What can you do today to start or deepen this quest of self mastery? Explore what life coaching or our online workshops have to offer. Let’s dive in.

  • “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” - African Proverbs

Healing and thriving does not happen in solitude. No man is an island. Yes, it is important to cultivate a relationship with yourself first but being alone in isolation will also have detrimental effects. We are social beings. Therefore we need to connect to others to feel like we are part of a unit, a team, community, a movement. Together. Togetherness is healing. Particularly when you are surrounded by others who are like minded in the pursuit of healing, happiness, joy, and love. This is why at Kinect, we are community driven so you can be supported not just by the practitioners, but your comrades. Knowing that you are not in this healing journey alone. You will meet others in various stages of their journeys, sharing their experiences and stories. It is our hope to build community through our common goal of healing through live events, gatherings and workshops. Come join us in our healing movement, through movement. Let’s KINECT.

  • What does it mean to heal? What does it mean to you? How do YOU heal? There is no right or wrong. Healing is not linear nor is there only one way to heal. What works for one person may not work for another. So we invite you to be creative. Creativity is healing. We will explore and introduce some other forms of healing such as art based therapy, somatic healing, creative writing, journaling, polyvagal theory, emdr, cooking, exploring a new hobby, learning a skill, volunteering and anything that allows us to think outside the box. Healing does not have to follow a traditional method. It should only feel right to you as long as it is supporting you in a positive and healthy manner. We welcome you and your healing with open arms, open hearts and open minds as we pursue this quest to heal the world.
